Patrick Hurley is a British Labour Party politician who has served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Southport since July 2024.[2] He is from Prescot, Knowsley. He is the first Labour politician to win the Southport seat, meaning his election marked the first time Labour held every seat in Merseyside. He served as councillor for Mossley Hill on Liverpool City Council from 2011 to 2023.[3]
